About the Role

Volunteers lead small prayer groups at participating care facilities. Gatherings include readings, prayers, shared intentions, and the Chaplet of Divine Mercy. Your role is to welcome residents, guide the group, and help everyone feel comfortable participating in their own way.

You do not need to write lessons or build a program from scratch. We provide a simple, prepared prayer group format for you to follow.

Requirements

  • A commitment to the Catholic faith and a desire to serve seniors

  • A warm, patient, and respectful approach to residents and staff

  • Comfort reading aloud and leading group prayer

  • Reliability in attending scheduled gatherings

  • Willingness to follow the facility’s visitor and volunteer requirements


Previous ministry or group-leading experience is welcome but not required.
